Cobble Cottage is situated in the attractive hamlet of Pencuke
amid rolling Cornish countryside, only a couple of miles inland from
the coastal village of Crackington Haven with its lovely small
beach. The ancient harbour of Boscastle and the dramatic cliff top
ruins of Tintagel Castle are also within easy reach. This part of
Cornwall is renowned for its rugged coastline, and offers wonderful
cliff top walks along the South West Coast Path between Boscastle
and Crackington Haven and beyond. There are many picturesque fishing
harbours and sandy beaches, which are ideal for swimming, sailing,
surfing. The historic market town of Launceston is 12 miles away,
Bodmin Moor is close by and the Tamar Valley and Dartmoor are an
easy drive. Visit, too, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of
Heligan, and Lanhydrock (NT).
Cobble Cottage has been tastefully refurbished to a high
standard, with much care and attention taken to preserve its
original features while providing all modern comforts. The result is
a delightfully cosy 'home from home', equally welcoming at any time
of the year. There is a pleasant sunny patio area immediately
outside the front door and a lovely, separate garden with distant
sea views, accessed from the parking area, where visitors can enjoy
a peaceful barbecue whilst watching the setting
sun. |
