Date set for Cornish festival

Posted on 19th March 2014

The date has been set for Wadebridge’s annual Rock Oyster Festival for this year, with the popular event in Cornwall set to again take place at Dinham House this 12th July.

The family-friendly music and food festival is set on the cusp of the beautiful north coast of Cornwall across the water from popular visitor hotspots such as Padstow, making it a great attraction for families to visit during the summer.

Those staying in family Cornwall coastal cottages this summer will be able to sit back and listen to highlights such as the amazing vocals of Kitten and supporting vocalist Ashley, who together make up Kitten & The Hip, as well as many more eclectic musical mixes as they sample the local food available in the all new open air farmers market.

The festival offers visitors the chance to sample great local produce such as Sharp’s beer in their own beer tent, Porthilly oysters and fiery madras from the Cornish Curry Company – there’s guaranteed to be something for everyone.

Tickets are available from the Rock Oyster Festival website, with no booking fees throughout March; this is also where visitors can preview the musical line-up with their very own ROF Radio.
