'The Little Barn' (H622), The Cabin is situated mid-way between
Penzance and St Ives, close to the village of Ludgvan. Tucked away
behind high gates and hedges with its own 1 acre plot within the
owner's large and fascinating 4 acre garden, it is very private, being
well away from the owner's property and The Little Barn. It has its own
driveway and parking and enjoys stunning views over the surrounding
countryside towards the sea at Mount's Bay.
This part of Cornwall is famed for its dramatic coastline and
magnificent beaches with many interesting places to visit - Lands End,
Cape Cornwall, Sennen Cove, St Ives, to name but a few - as well as St
Michael's Mount (National Trust) and Mount's Bay, which are just 5
minutes by car. There are numerous country walks to enjoy including St
Michael's Way, the former route for pilgrims on their way from Lelant
to Michael's Mount. The Cabin is a haven of tranquility - an ideal place to relax and
unwind. The owner, who is a local artist, generously extends the use of
her garden with its many rare and exotic plants from around the world,
lily pond area with barbecue facilities, orchard and mature woodland
area. The garden attracts a diversity of wildlife and an array of
butterflies and moths.
