Hidden
away up a bridlepath with tremendous southerly views, Kitts Cottage
affords complete privacy yet is only a mile from the village of
Carharrack (shop and PO). The cottage is also conveniently placed for
visiting the many attractions of this part of Cornwall - the superb
sandy/surfing beaches at Porthtowan and Portreath on the north coast,
the cliff walks of the Lizard peninsula, the creeks of the Fal Estuary
and the Helford River with their sub-tropical gardens (Trebah,
Trelissick and The Lost Gardens of Heligan), shopping in the cathedral
city of Truro (6 miles) - and of course famous St Ives with its
laid-back artist community.
Originally a tinner's simple dwelling, Kitts Cottage has been
sympathetically modernised to provide a comfortable and attractive
place to relax and enjoy the peace and privacy it affords.
