Posted on 10th June 2014

An article on the Cornwall Life website has listed its top six activities to do in Cornwall in June, but here we pick the best three that feature in their list.

Heritage Transport Festival

There are an array of superb holiday cottages to rent in Cornwall and there are many around the Bodmin area, which this month will be hosting a festival about transport. The festival, taking place on 14th-15th June, will display artefacts from old modes of transport such as a steam and heritage diesel locomotive.

Explore Penwith

Another great activity to do in June that features in the Cornwall Life article is to discover Penwith. Old ruins can be found across Penwith and visitors can get up close and personal to ancient ruins that include stone circles, Celtic crosses, tombs, hill forts and holy wells.

Cornwall Summer Bear Fair

If you are down in Cornwall on a family holiday with young children then the Summer Bear Fair is a must-visit. Hundreds of old and new teddy bears will be on show at the Community Centre in Lostwithiel on 22nd June.
